Digital Designer (m/f/d) Verilog

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Designer with strong expertise in Verilog and SystemVerilog to join our microcontroller development team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and adaptation of RTL code, as well as for transitioning existing RTL code to SystemVerilog in a microcontroller environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • RTL Design & Implementation: Develop, adapt, and optimize Register Transfer Level (RTL) designs for digital components.
  • Code Migration: Transition existing Verilog-based RTL code into SystemVerilog, ensuring compatibility, maintainability, and performance optimization.
  • Code Review & Debugging: Conduct thorough code reviews, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and coding guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with system architects, verification engineers, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of digital designs into the overall system.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation for all developed and modified RTL modules.

Requirements

Must-Have:

  • Expert knowledge in Digital Design principles and methodologies.
  • Proven hands-on experience in RTL design using SystemVerilog.
  • Solid understanding of Verilog, with the ability to adapt and enhance existing RTL code.
  • Experience working in a microcontroller or embedded system hardware environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with synthesis tools, simulation environments, and verification methodologies.
  • Knowledge of hardware description languages (HDL) best practices and coding standards.
  • Experience with FPGA prototyping and hardware validation.
